News Rover

Ozum

Click to Go There

Ozum is a perfect tool for any user. It makes work with the Usenet as easy as "drag-n-drop" for novice users, while more advanced users will enjoy the power and control it offers. Ozum gives you a way to preview (or listen to) a part of a large video/audio file before downloading and assembling the file. You can "sample" large files before you download them and save hours that you would spend on downloading files that you don't really want.

Foto Vac

FotoVac will scan through selected newsgroups and will download all the images that it finds in each group.

Images are displayed as thumbnails. To view a full size version of a downloaded image, simply click on the selected image. FotoVac supports all of the major image formats, including .bmp, .jpg and .png and can check for duplicate images.

NewsBinPro

NewsBinPro automatically downloads and decodes any binary posted to Usenet, including multipart posts.

Feed it a list of newsgroups, and it will run until every JPG, MP3, MPG, AVI or ZIP is downloaded. A manual mode allows you to pick and choose before you download. NewsBinPro also has extensive filtering options, including special spam filters.
